Golden Rams Stay Unbeaten in MCAC with Win over MN West

The Anoka-Ramsey Men’s Basketball team stayed perfect in MCAC play with a 92-61 win over MN West on Sunday afternoon.

Anoka-Ramsey jumped out to a 23-1 lead nine minutes into the game and never looked back to improve to 4-0 in the MCAC.

Six different Golden Rams scored in the opening run, and 11 different players scored in the game.

Manny Jingco scored 17 points off the bench on 6 of 9 shooting with five steals.

Albert Tinnel recorded 16 points and seven rebounds.

Rodney Owens and Micah Adkins each chipped in 12 points, with Steven Colon adding ten.

Anoka-Ramsey forced 23 turnovers and shot 52.9 percent compared to 36.1 percent for the Bluejays.

The Golden Rams improve to 9-5 overall and will host Rochester on Wednesday at 6:30pm.
