Anoka-Ramsey Softball players Emma Bright and Molly Gross both recently committed to NCAA Division II schools to continue their education and athletic careers.

Bright, a sophomore from Anoka, signed with Concordia-St. Paul.  And Gross, a sophomore from Columbia Heights, signed with St. Cloud State.

Both schools are members of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.

As an outfielder, Bright was a NJCAA All-American in the 2022 season and earned the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Golden Shoe Award as she was second in the nation in stolen bases (52) and fourth in batting average (.593).

Gross has been one of the top pitchers in the Minnesota College Athletic Conference with a 3.38 ERA last season and a 9.33 K/7 inning rate – 9th nationally.
