The Anoka-Ramsey Women’s Basketball team lost their opening road conference game to Riverland 62-60 on Sunday afternoon in Austin.

The Golden Rams struggled shooting the basketball, making just 33.3 percent of their shots compared to 51 percent for the Blue Devils.

Anoka-Ramsey managed to stay in the game by forcing 22 Riverland turnovers accounting for 12 more shot attempts.

Janea Arnoldi had 17 points making all five free throw attempts.

Mikayla Kanenwisher had 14 points on 4 of 9 shooting and 3 of 5 from three.

Sydney Kehr scored ten points.

Anoka-Ramsey drops to 11-3 overall and 1-1 in the MCAC.
