The Anoka-Ramsey Men’s Soccer team saw a promising season come to an end with a 8-1 loss to Harper in the Midwest District semifinals on Friday.

The Golden Rams had been ranked #6 in the nation in the final regular season poll, but couldn’t overcome some key injuries in falling to the host Hawks.

Harper took control early and often, as Anoka-Ramsey gave up a season-high in goals.  Previously, the season-high goals against was three.

Anoka-Ramsey had not lost since their opening game of the season and was on a ten game winning streak.

The Golden Rams finish the season with a 11-2-1 record.
