Volleyball Beats DCTC to Conclude Season

The Anoka-Ramsey Volleyball team beat DCTC 3-2 on Friday night to conclude their season.

The Golden Rams won by scores of 25-23, 25-21, 24-26, 25-16, 15-3 to claim their first victory of the season.

After winning the first two sets, the Golden Rams led 24-22 in the third before the Blue Knights rallied to score the final four points and keep the match going.

DCTC carried the momentum into the fourth set, but Anoka-Ramsey regrouped and scored the first ten points of the fifth set.

Anoka-Ramsey had a season-high 110 digs to go with 35 kills, the fourth-highest total on the season.

Maggie Kohl had 11 kills with Makyhia Evans adding nine.

Mikayla Grandaw had 32 assists.  Stephanie Hannon had 29 digs.

The Golden Rams finish their season with a 1-23 record.
