Mens Soccer Clinches Share of Conference Title

The Anoka-Ramsey Men’s Soccer team clinched at least a share of the MCAC regular season title by beating Lake Superior 3-0 on Sunday afternoon.

The Golden Rams are undefeated in league play at 7-0 with one game remaining, a Wednesday evening tilt at second place Riverland.  Riverland is 5-1 with two matches left.  The Golden Rams beat Riverland 2-0 in their first matchup.

On Sunday, the Golden Rams controlled the game throughout against the Ice Hawks.

Claudy Zau and Jafaar Abdulrahman each had goals in the second half.

Reece Lawlor saw seven shots on goal and saved each one.

Anoka-Ramsey has not lost since their opening match of the season and were #10 in the latest NJCAA national rankings.
