Women’s Soccer Drops Opening Match

The Anoka-Ramsey Women’s Soccer team fell to DCTC 14-2 on Wednesday in their opening match of the season.

The Golden Rams only had nine healthy players available and played the game short-handed.

Hailey Babcock opened the game with a goal in the first couple minutes, with the assist to Jada Kodl, to give Anoka-Ramsey a 1-0 lead.  The Blue Knights then took control and led 11-1 at halftime.

Babcock added another goal for the Golden Rams late in the game, assisted by Kendra Geary.

Anoka-Ramsey is off until September 7 when they travel to Alexandria Tech.
