The Anoka-Ramsey Men’s Basketball team went on the road for the first time this season and picked up two wins to stay unbeaten at 4-0.
On Friday night the Golden Rams dispatched the Valley City JV while participating in NDSCS Baymont Classic by a score of 68-62.
Albert Tinnel IV scored 15 points to lead Anoka-Ramsey in scoring, while Jamal Woods had a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds.
Andrew Chisley pitched in 12 points on 4 of 5 from the field.
On Saturday, Anoka-Ramsey faced host NDSCS and came away with a big 89-82 win over the NJCAA Division I foe.
Tinnel was big again with 25 points on 10 of 16 shooting including 2 of 3 from the three-point line.
Woods scored 14 points making all ten of his free throw attempts. Caleb Ludwig scored ten on 3 of 6 from the three-point line, and Derrick Love scored ten points on 4 of 6 shooting overall.
Anoka-Ramsey shot 47.6 percent for the game and made 20 of 22 free throws.
The Golden Rams next travel to Brainerd to face Central Lakes.
