The Anoka-Ramsey Men’s Basketball team picked up a 72-65 win over Northland in their season opener Friday evening.
Albert Tinnel IV scored a team-high 20 points on 6 of 12 shooting, and 8 of 10 from the free throw line.
Akeem Nelson (13 points), Andrew Chisley (11), and Jacob Von Ende (10) rounded out the double figure scorers.
The Golden Rams held Northland to just 40.7 percent from the field and forced 23 Pioneer turnovers.

Nelson pitched in five rebounds, five assists, and three steals.
