The Anoka-Ramsey Men’s Soccer team exploded offensively in beating Alexandria Technical and Community College 6-3.
The Golden Rams struck quickly, with Isaac Swenson finding the back of the net in the sixth minute off an assist from Gavin Hose for a 1-0 lead.
Maid Medic followed up in the 31st minute, and Evan Galledou extended the lead to 3-0 in the 35th minute before halftime.
Brandon Lee got on the board in the 60th minute, with Isaac Swenson adding his second goal in the 73rd minute for a 5-0 advantage.
Alexandria came alive briefly, tallying three goals in a seven minute span to pull within 5-3, but Karim Kandor put the game away in the 88th minute for the final score.
Ty Modaff contributed two assists.
The Golden Ram defense was solid all match, particularly GK Eric Marchan who had 18 saves.
Anoka-Ramsey is 2-0 on the season.
