The Anoka-Ramsey Community College Athletic Department is proud to announce that Jake Contreras has earned the MCAC Central Division Baseball Position Player of the Week honors for the week of March 11th – 17th. Contreras hit a whooping .440 (11 for 25) while playing in the Jackie Robinson Training Complex Collegiate Invitational in Vero Beach, FL. Additionally, Contreras had two doubles, two triples, one home run, scored 10 runs and had 10 RBI’s during the 8 games.
Coach Saulsbury commented, “Jake had a tremendous week at the plate. He is our team captain and a very talented player. It was great to see Jake’s performance level, something that I expect to see from him the entire year. Congratulations to Jake, on a well-deserved honor.”

The Golden Rams are set to open their Minnesota schedule with a four-pack of games on March 29th – 30th in a round robin event down in Austin, MN versus Riverland Community College and Rainy River.
