The Anoka-Ramsey Volleyball team hosted the top-ranked team in NJCAA DIII when Century College came to the Performance Gym Wednesday evening.
The Golden Rams put up a valiant effort in the first set and led 18-14 before the Wood Ducks found their grove and won 25-21. After that Century proved why they’re the #1 team in the nation as they finished off the Golden Rams 25-7, 25-15.
Gracie Wenger had six kills and hit .188 for the match. Lindsey Meizo recorded ten assists, and Amanda Stepniak had 15 digs.
The Golden Rams drop to 3-4 overall on the season.

Anoka-Ramsey continues their homestand by hosting M|State Fergus Falls on Friday at 6:30pm, and Ridgewater on Saturday at 12:00pm.
