The Anoka-Ramsey Men’s Basketball team improved to 2-0 in MCAC Southern Division play with a 76-64 win over Minnesota West on Saturday afternoon.
The Golden Rams used tough defense to pull out the victory, forcing 29 Blue Jay turnovers and holding Minnesota West to just 37.9 percent shooting including a 3 for 20 mark from the three-point line.
Anoka-Ramsey led by as many as 19 points in the second half.
Ibrahim El-Amin scored 20 points on 4 of 9 from the three-point line.

Chaz Franklin scored 19 points making 7 of 15 shots from the field and adding three steals.
Derrick Love chipped in nine points.
Anoka-Ramsey improves to 8-7 overall.
