The Anoka-Ramsey Volleyball team picked up their first MCAC South Division win of the season, beating Ridgewater 3-1.
The Golden Rams opened the match with a 25-19 win in the first set, then tacked on a 25-23 win in the second set before Ridgewater took the third 25-17.
That didn’t deter Anoka-Ramsey as they took care of the Warriors 25-21 in the fourth for the win.
Gracie Wenger hit .425 with 18 kills for the match.

Lindsey Meizo had 35 assists, and Stephanie Hannon has six service aces.
The defense was outstanding as Amanda Stepaniak (21), Wenger (18), and Hannon (14) each recorded double digit digs.
Anoka-Ramsey improves to 4-5 overall and will host St. Cloud Tech on Wednesday September 13th at 6:30pm.
