The Golden Rams entered the tournament as the #9 seed out of 12 teams and defeated Prince George’s in the opening round 59-41 behind 18 points from Mikayla Kanenwisher, and a 12 point, 15 rebound double-double from CeCe Bell.

Janea Arnoldi added ten points in the opening game win.

With that victory the Golden Rams advanced to the quarterfinals where they faced #1 seed Owens and fell 70-52 despite another Bell double-double with 22 points and 13 rebounds.  Kanenwisher added 13 points, five rebounds, and four assists.

The loss moved Anoka-Ramsey out of championship contention and into the consolation round where they beat Monroe-Bronx 68-61 thanks to another Bell double-double as she went for 24 points and 13 rebounds.  Arnoldi added a double-double of her own with 18 points and 15 rebounds, with Kanewisher scoring ten points to go along with eight rebounds and six assists.

Anoka-Ramsey outscored Monroe 21-9 in the second quarter and held on for the win.

Playing their fourth game in four days with seven players, the Golden Rams showed no signs of slowing down as they beat Fulton-Montgomery 74-59 in the 5th place game thanks in large part to another strong second quarter.  Anoka-Ramsey outscored Fulton-Montgomery 23-6 in the period.

Bell narrowly missed a double-double this time out with 14 points and nine rebounds.  But Arnoldi scored 23 points and pulled in 13 rebounds, and Kimori Morris scored ten points with five rebounds and three assists.
