Anoka-Ramsey Softball player Emma Hurd was named the MCAC Position Player of the Week for the Southern Division thanks to her performance at the start of the team’s spring Florida trip.

Hurd hit .556 going 10 for 18 with one double, one triple, one home run, and three RBI over the team’s first five games.

Hurd also scored six runs, walked twice, and had three stolen bases.

Against #6 Rowan Gloucester Hurd went 4 for 4 with a home run and two runs scored.

The Golden Rams went 3-8 against mostly NJCAA D2 schools on their trip.
