Anoka-Ramsey guard Rodney Owens was named the MCAC Southern Division Player of the Week for his performance last week for the Golden Rams.

Owens averaged 20.67 points per game while shooting 61.8 percent over three games.

Owens also hauled in 27 total rebounds and recorded six steals.

Rodney leads Anoka-Ramsey with 15.6 points per game, but 18.8 per game in MCAC contests.

Anoka-Ramsey is 11-9 overall and in the thick of a heated conference race tied for third in the Southern Division, but only a half game back from first place with two games left to play.
