Last year, the successful Write Like Us program was launched in which BIPOC writing students were paired with BIPOC mentors from our local community. An exciting part of this program included bringing in 5 national authors for a reading and conversation (ARCC hosted Brit Benet who wrote The Vanishing Half). The Kiese Laymon event had to be postponed and will be September 29th, 6:30 p.m. at North Hennepin Community College.
