Anoka-Ramsey sophomore softball player Emma Bright was named the NJCAA Division III Player of the Week for her efforts last week in five Golden Ram victories.

Emma hit for a .714 average and stole ten bases as the Golden Rams won five of six games.

Bright had at least two hits in all six games including a 4 for 4 performance against Central Lakes.  Bright stole three bases against Dakota College Bottineau, and another three against Rainy River.  With 18 stolen bases on the season, Bright ranks second nationally but has played four less games than the national leader who has 20 on the season.

The Golden Rams outscored their opponents 66-16 over the six games.

Anoka-Ramsey is 9-8 overall on the season.
